Trading journal for Topstep
Trades from TopstepX reach the journal by themselves, Combine rules are already filled in, and the journal warns you before the daily limit.
Connecting TopstepX
- API key. With a paid ProjectX subscription: your TopstepX user name and key in Account → Auto-import. Read only, trades sync every 5 minutes.
- File. Without one: export trades from TopstepX (Trades → Export) into the auto-import folder.
- NinjaTrader 8. Our AddOn writes the executions by itself and the journal picks them up.
Account rules
- Trading Combine templates: target, daily limit, drawdown. Each has a link to the rules and the date they were checked: compare them with Topstep’s site before you start.
- A warning when under 0.5R is left to a limit: in the journal, on a new card and as a notification.
